In our J2EE project, we have Oracle 9i database in the resources tier. Daily we need to look at and explore data in the database, and prepare environments for unit, system and integration tests. Dreamcoder is our tool of choice for supporting this environment, managing our queries, and for verifying the results our business processes.
The technical features offered by Dreamcoder to both development and DBA people make development and administration processes faster. Our development team like the PL/SQL IDE because they have a powerful editor, an amazing data display grid and debugger and project management tools in addition to the ability to browse through all the database objects. Our DBA people use the graphical monitors to control resources throughput and to manage user sessions. Personally I selected the tool for development support because is easy to use, intuitive and has graphics facilities for saving time during manual tasks; everything in favor the development time. In summary Dreamcoder is an excellent and inexpensive tool that helps to improve development efficiency and better manage the Oracle administration process. Hello! My name is Felipe Rodrigues,
I'm a programmer and physicist from Brazil. I just would like to congratulate you for Dreamcoder for Oracle freeware. I spent a lot of time looking for a software that met all my needs and that were easy on machine resources. I went from SQL Developer by Oracle, JOra and a lot of other plugins for Eclipese, PL/SQL developer by AllAround Automations. None of them pleased me 100%. The closest one was JOra, an Eclipse plugin. Actually I was starting MY OWN Oracle management system! Thanks and congratulations. I'm a highly experienced programmer and I rarely step by one company's webpage to congratulate them, but you guys really deserve it. Greetings from Brazil! Best regards, Felipe V.
