I have a free website with x10hosting, a username and password, and login through 'cpanel'. How do I connect in Dreamcoder with these 3 essentials: website. username and password. I don't understand the other requirements in the Connect Window of Dreamcoder. I get this error

2003
Can't connect to MySQL server on 'testdomain.x10hosting.com' (10061)
Socket error on connect. WSAGetLastError return 10060($274C)

and then: Operation aborted!

I want to trial this coder but can't seem to get started. Help!!

Hi,

For this situation you need to know if your hosting provider support remote database connection through SSH tunneling, PHP Tunneling or Direct TCP-IP connection.

With DreamCoder for MySQL Freeware you can establish a direct TCP-IP connection, with the Enterprise version you can start a SHH tunneling connection. The last option PHP tunneling is not available at this moment, but i the next version will be available in the both versions.
