ORA-00911: Invalid Character error message 2 Years, 1 Month ago Karma: 1
Hi,

I downloaded DreamCoder from download.com and installed that version. After the install, I received the follow error message: "ORA-00911: Invalid Character error message"

I can write a SQL query but when I run the query, I get an ORA-00911: Invalid Character error message.

I set up a connection to a database, and was able to connect successfully, but when I open an SQL Editor window, I get the same message again. When I continue again, I can write a SQL query but when I run the query, I get an ORA-00911: Invalid Character error message. I have included the details of that error message below. I am using 4.3 Build (4.3.1.0), and my hardware key is 28-34-C3-19-96-26-B8-EA ( I don't know if you need that information or not - I figured I'd include it!).

Please let me know if you need any additional information.

Thx,
Rick

Hi,

Maybe the problem is the ; in a regular select statement. You not need use the ; in a regular SELECT.
