DESCRIBE / DESC not working in DreamCoder for Oracle

    When I try to run either DESCRIBE tablename or DESC tablename I get the error:

    ORA-00900: invalid SQL statement
     DESC!

    Hi,
                 I installed dream coder sql ,but im unable to compile queries,its asking about user name,password etc.. pls advice me how to run my sql and plsql queries
